About Makalidurga Hill
The name of small hill, situated in village with same name as makalidurga. The makalidurga is located 50 to 60 km away from Bangalore. 10 km from doddballapura. The hill top is also called as hill top fort, consist of Shiva temple and Nandi idol. The total height measures up to ~1200mts.
The Terrain consist of rocky hills, lush greenery and serene lake at the base of the hill, the makalidurga is favourite among the trekker. The trek to the top is moderate, providing a good opportunity for the adventure enthusiasts, also summit provides the breath-taking panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
